Leonardo DA VINCI (b. 1452, Vinci, Republic of Florence [now in Italy]--d. May 2, 1519, Cloux, Fr.)


Italian painter, draftsman, sculptor, architect, and engineer whose genius, perhaps more than that of any other figure,
epitomized the Renaissance humanist ideal. His Last Supper (1495-97) and Mona Lisa (1503-06) are among the most widely popular
and influential paintings of the Renaissance.

His notebooks reveal a spirit of scientific inquiry and a mechanical inventiveness that were centuries ahead of his time.

呵呵,我也加一个Leonardo
他叫Leonardo是因为身怀六甲的母亲在看Leonardo da VINCI画展的时候，肚子里的这个小宝贝踢了妈妈一脚,似乎对莱昂纳多达芬奇的画也感兴趣，因此妈妈给小宝贝取名Leonardo.他的全名是Leonardo Wilelm DiCaprio.哈哈,没错的,他就是风靡一世的<铁达尼号>的男主角Leonardo DiCaprio!
