One day, two gangsters entered the Palate of summer.
One plundered, the other set fire to. The victory can be a robber,
so that it appears. A devastation into large of the Palate of
summer was done of joint account between the two winners.
All the treasures of all our joined together cathedrals would not
equalize this splendid and formidable museum of the East.
There were no only there masterpieces of art, there was an accumulation
of goldsmitheries. Great exploit, good aubaine.
One of the two winners filled up its pockets, which indicator,
the other filled up its trunks; and one returned to Europe,
arm above, arm below, while laughing. Such is the history of
the two gangsters. We, European, we are civilized, and for us,
the Chinese are the barbarians. Here what civilization did with cruelty.
In front of the history, one of the two gangsters will be called France,
the other will be called Angleterre.
